"We were a little concerned when we arrived, rang the dorbell and no one seemed there. The lights were on but it took two rings and a long wait before the host unlocked the door. Then she seemed a bit confused about who we were, when we had made our reservation and actually thought we had checked in already earlier that day. The room was nice, had everything we needed. Mary (the owner) was very welcoming and even drove me to town because I didn't have a car. To top it off, guests are allowed to watch the cows being milked every day from a viewing gallery (yes, Ballindrum is also a working dairy farm). I highly recommend it."
