"Die 4 Übernachtungen im Ferienhaus Apfelbaum haben uns richtig gut gefallen. Krinau ist ein süßer kleiner Ort mit tollem Dorfladen. Das Haus war für unsere Bedürfnisse sehr gut ausgestattet, insbesondere die Küche hatte alles, was es zum Kochen braucht. Die Ausstattung ist reduziert aber sehr gemütlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. "

"Wir hatten eine super Zeit im Birentobel. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Nadja persönlich zum Haus begleitet. Das Haus war bereits vorgewärmt, sodass wir sehr entspannt ankommen konnten. Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung, kein überflüssiger Schnickschnack, aber alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Ein perfekter Ort, um abzuschalten und vom Alltag runter zu kommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Die Kommunikation im Voraus mit den Eigentümern der Hütte war total unkompliziert. Die Anreise im Dunkeln im Nebel & Schnee vom Ort zur Hütte hoch war ein kleines Abenteuer, aber gut machbar. Die Hütte ist perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. In der Küche sind Spüli, Geschirrhandtücher, Spülmaschinen-Tabs, Gewürze etc. vorhanden. Wir hatten aber alles selbst dabei. The stepping stones used as stairs are uneven, some wobbly, and no hand rails, which made them very UNSAFE. The home needs a new latch on the gate and a handle on the patio door. The downstairs was dusty and many spider webs. Drapes or blidownstairs"

"It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

"Ein wunderbarer Ort um kurz abzuschalten. Das Haus und die Küche sind sehr gut eingerichtet und sehr heimelig. Der gesamte Garten ist eingezäunt für Hunde/Kinder und es hat sehr bequeme Liegestühle. Es liegt zwar direkt an der Strasse, wenn man aber hinten raus sitzt und die Schlafzimmer hinten raus hat ist es absolut kein Problem. Gerne wieder!"

"Second stay at the property, well located for exploring the area and quiet. Good size with everything you are likely to need for a stay. Lovely view from the balcony and lounge window."

"We visited in October as a party of 9 which including 3 elderly relatives with limited mobility. The house is ideally equipped for such visitors having one bedroom at ground floor level, as well was a stair lift that enables guests with limited mobility to access bedrooms on the first floor. There are bathrooms on both floors and both with walk in/wet room style showers. The kitchen was well equipped and a large table enabled the whole family to be seated, similarly there is a terrace outside...

Solo stay at hostel

"This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel. I They also have a playground and basketball court. I will stay here everytime i visit Einsiedeln "

Always a great place to stay

"Glarnerhof has always been a great place to stay and to eat. The restaurant is very busy with locals for lunch and dinner. I had lamb twice that was so mild that I might have thought it was beef. The hotel is undergoing a remodel which will be done soon but I did not encounter too much trouble from that. Staff was nice and some speak excellent English which is nice for those of us who didn't have a chance to learn German. Lots of parking available in the lot next to the train station for 6 francs per day. Temporary parking in front of the hotel next to the park but be fast or you might get a ticket. "
