"The staff were very helpful, however their English wasn't to good, (being an international airport transit hotel should probably be better) but in saying that they always found a way to understand you. "From reading other people's comments about the out dated looking rooms and loud airplane take-off/landings, i thought it wasn't bad for staying overnight. We was there end of November and Beijing is really cold, so we needed heating and had to use the A/C and that was louder so it drowns out the outside airplane sounds. "About a 15 minute walk from terminal 2 maybe double that dragging a chipping trunk sized bag. A bit tricky to find and potentially hazardous crossing busy road. The area is not pedestrian friendly. It’s not somewhere you’d stay to impress anyone although I did like their oversized carved lobby furniture. Adequate as a basic bolt hole when you have a late evening arrival and just want to sleep a bit before facing more travel in a strange new land."

"I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and provided shuttle service to and from the airport. I had a one night layover. I always adjust my expectations to match what I am paying. My room was clean but missing the sliding side of the shower door. The breakfast was very simple but edible. It has 24 hour check in. "The hotel was dingy and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The shower was just a showerhead in the bathroom, so water went everywhere. But it was cheap and near the airport, so that was one plus. "
