"All the staff at the Royal Oak couldn’t have done anything more to help us during our stay. From advising us how to get to Pen-Y-Pass, which routes to take up Snowdon and where is good to eat. The food was great and a good range of options for all on the menu. Hotel itself is a little tired and could do with decorating in some places but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to do Snowdon again (which is likely) and would recommend it to others as well. "

"My girlfriend and I recently booked a one-night stay at the Traxx Hotel, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We were particularly grateful for their willingness to store some of our luggage even after we had checked out, which was a huge convenience for us. The rooms themselves were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The reception staff were also outstanding. Even after what seemed to be their closing time, they were still available and happy to assist us with our luggages. The location of the Traxx Hotel is absolutely perfect. Being situated just outside Bangor station, it was incredibly easy to find and access – you can literally see the hotel from the station! This made our arrival and departure completely stress-free. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Traxx Hotel. The helpful staff, clean rooms, and unbeatable location make it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Bangor. We would definitely recommend it and will certainly consider staying here again on future trips. "
