We stayed for eight nights in June/July 2022 and the experience was great. The property was accurately described, and the owner was super responsive to a variety of questions. She offered helpful guidance on ferry reservations, restaurants, rainy day activities, and the best butcher/fish monger/bakery. We cooked in 50% of the time and the house was well-stocked with necessary kitchen items. Great Weber grill out back on the deck, which was good for four-person dinners. We had two sets of friends visit us during our stay, and the house works well for two couples. Solid laundry capacity in the house. There is a third bedroom with bunk beds suitable for kids. Beach access is fantastic and the beach was uncrowded...literally more seals than people. Also no problem to go over to the Wauwinet Inn (next door) and watch the sunset from their harbor facing lawn and get some drinks. This property is perfect for those looking for a quiet stay away from the crowds of Nantucket town when the main objective is relaxation, solitude and awesome beach time. Also a good idea to have a car, as this enabled strategic visits to town for dinners (we hit Sconset twice and Nantucket town twice), picking friends up at the ferry/airport, and visits to get groceries or provisions. Probably not for you if you expect to walk to restaurants, coffee shops and other town-based amenities. Finally, we all loved the outdoor shower. I developed such an affinity for this shower that I didn't use an indoor shower for the entire trip. Great property, great owner and great trip.
