Absolutely gorgeous place, super close to Nara park. After hiking to Mount Wakakusa my wife and I enjoyed the private hot springs. It was surreal enjoying the hot water while listening to the rain in the rock garden area. We would definitely come back if we find ourselves in Nara.

very refreshing stay of our trip. check-in times very restrictive. we had no contact with staff after checking in. hot water control must be turned on manually. private in-room ryokan was a great amenity. overall great value

This is our favorite place to stay this Japan trip. The room is very large and spacious. The deep outdoor soaking tub is a huge plus traveling with a kid. You have to walk up the stairs to the 3rd floor but they have a luggage/cargo elevator so all you need to do is to walk yourself up there without the hassle to haul luggages. Parking is not included but there is a small paid parking lot right next to the backstreet of the hotel. Walking distance to JR Nara station.

Wonderful stay!

Amazing room. Very clean and very nice. Front desk has limited hours and they don't always have someone there manning a front desk. Make sure you have the address in Japanese to show to your cab driver, we had some trouble finding it initially.

近鉄奈良駅から近く、にぎやかな商店街が近いながらも立地は静かで、とてもスタイリッシュなホテルです。 部屋によりますが、私が宿泊した部屋の窓からは荒池の畔で佇む何頭かの鹿を見ることができて嬉しかったです。 奈良を訪れた際には次回も利用したいです。
