This property is absolutely beautiful but if you are looking for a resort that is reasonably priced this is not the place to stay. Everything is extremely overpriced and even the cheaper options are still very expensive. I can't imagine bringing a family here and having to feed them for an entire week. The amount it would cost in food would far surpass the cost of lodging. We were not too happy here constantly worrying about how much a drink or a small meal was going to cost :(

Really great place to go with kids. The pools in the hotel and then in the water park next door (free to go in if staying at the hotel) were awesome for kids. Lots of chairs to use and didn’t feel crowded. Nicely maintained and had a new feel to it. Rooms were nice and had great view of ocean.

The actual hotel food was terrible. A lot of the restaurantas are good. Especially at the SLS a d Rosewoos hotels. Staff was hit or miss had some extremely nice and pleasant interactions and had very rude ones as well. We had a largw group who booked different rooms. We paid for extra an upgraded ocean view room and our view was thw same if not worse then froenda who didnt pay extra. The view od the actual oceanwas obstructed by the water park towers and i got the runa round when trying to change rooms. The hotel did provide comps for the inconvenience which i wasnt expecting but was nice- i just would have rather had a nice ocean view for what i paid for and not felt upsold and dissapointed.

Sewage issue in tub Someone did not clean our room properly I pulled out someone else hair from the drain when the tub was not draining. It was the size of my palm and thickness of my hand. Reception sent up a plumber and told us they would speak to management. No one from management called us. The plumber pulled out stuff from the drain and after he did that, the bathroom tub smelled like sewage everytime we went to shower. We were comped 100$ for the two of the theee days our bathroom smelled like sewage. They cannot do anything else like waive the resort fee entirely nor did they offer a room change since we booked through Expedia. Also had double charges on my credit card from two different restaurants/bars.

The property is beautiful and room accommodations were clean and well kept. The dining and beverage options are quite expensive, although expected, the quality of the food did not match the price! We had scheduled an excursion through the resort that was canceled 1 hour before departure which was disappointing, but luckily we located another excursion outside of the resort that took my children and I on an amazing private 3 hour tour! There jazz club was phenomenal however no children are permitted at 9 pm. There’s not much to do after 5 pm as the water park and pools close unless you enjoy the casino. Overall we had a great trip and stay at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.

The property is extremely expensive and the resort does not include anything other than the water park. I would not stay here again and would suggest others to look for something all inclusive. The price did not justify the stay.
