Silver Trout is a brand new cabin with amazing views in the Chalk Creek Valley. A cozy two story four bedroom home away from home! The main level has kitchen, dining space and living room, plus two bedrooms and two baths. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a double bunk (double bed on both top and bottom) perfect for the kids. The top level has a lofted sitting area, bathroom and two bedrooms. One with a queen, the other with a king bed.
Located just a few miles east of Mt Princeton Hot Springs, Silver Trout is the perfect family vacation cabin!

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish, laundry and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters.

Excellent location and comfortable cabin that allowed for family time to include our Labrador retriever. Location allows for easy access to Mt. Princeton hot springs, Arkansas river and abundant public land in Chaffee county. Frequent wildlife visits to include Deer and Antelope. Great views and quiet.

Beautiful Colorado Home
My husband and I stayed at this location for 7 days. It is perfectly situated between Buena Vista and Salida. We primarily came to hike, and we were able to everyday. The home is cozy, neat, and has everything you need. The view to Mt. Princeton is amazing. I enjoyed every sunrise and sunset on the front porch. We even saw a gorgeous double rainbow. We would definitely stay here again.

Better than the pictures
This property is exceptional. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. The furniture is newer & comfortable. There’s everything you could need in the house. The location is perfect. On our stay we easily visited Vail & Aspen, could have easily also gone to Breckenridge. There is hiking & hot springs within a 10 minute drive. Like most houses in Colorado, it does not have air conditioning & the house can get quite hot at night. Overall though it was worth the price and better than advertised. Will be back!

Nice Place.
We checked in with no problems. The cabin was clean. We were comfortable even though there is no air-conditioning and there was a heat wave going on. The location is great if you want that mountain experience. If you’re looking to watch TV or similar maybe get something closer to town.

Great cabin in a great location
This place is located in the middle of Buena Vista and Salida and was perfect for the activities we had planned. Great space for the whole family. The only snag for us was "dog friendly" means only one dog so my in laws had to find separate housing even though we rented this place because it would sleep both families. Otherwise, it's a clean and cozy home with beautiful mountain views.

Nice home, beautiful scenery
Very nice, clean and cozy home. Scenic mountain views are beautiful. A bit windy with one day of snow while we were there. Just as pictured and very convenient to hot springs and a few other landmarks. Great for a family getaway.
