"I loved the layout of the property. There was plenty of space to congregate or segregate. Google house was fun. There was a couple very small things like a used sponge for dishes , There was only 1 pod for dishwasher (I left a bag) A heavier wall decoration had fallen off the wall behind toilet in the main bathroom. However these are barely worth mentioning. It was very clean and very cozy! Plenty of TV viewing choices was a plus! Overall I highly recommend! "

"Lake lure took a big hit to the storm. But this cabin had all we needed to keep us occupied during our stay. Restaurants and some shops are open. Loved how everyone is so open to helping each other. House was so lovely, owner was very accommodating. Anytime I had a question. I texted him personally. He responded very quickly. I highly recommend this house. We will come back."

There's a hot tub on the porch which was perfect for soaking and looking at the stars on a night that would otherwise be too cold to be outside. "We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. Overall, it was terrific, though! Ed was a great host!"
