"I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

During the week we stayed it was extremely hot so having the good sized pool situated so close by was ideal . It was our first time to the area and we all loved the region. All nearby shops are within walking distance with lots of local activities and festivals to suit all age groups. Our hosts were very welcoming and easy to contact. I arrived late, and during the Covid pandemic, and the receptionist offered me a reasonably priced evening meal in my room, which was delicious.
