"My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!"

"We genuinely could not have asked for a more perfect place to get away for a long weekend. The property is stunning and we were treated to a dazzling display of the northern lights as soon as we arrived on our first night. The cabin was immaculately clean and equipped with everything we needed for an easeful stay. "Kristy’s home is beautiful! Ample bedrooms for 10 that includes a cool bunkie with bar and shuffleboard. The house is nicely appointed with pots, pans etc. Very spacious with lots of room in the kitchen and living room to hang out. The screen room off the kitchen was my favourite. Great view and screened to keep the bugs away. The view is wonderful and the property has a relatively long private sand beach that is awesome for swimming, relaxing, launching a paddle-board or kayak. I’m sure...
