"A group of us went to Negril to celebrate my birthday. There were 7 who stayed at Sandy Haven. The property is lovely. Most of the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, advising on where to go (and not to go) and going out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. On my birthday, the owner gifted us a bottle of champagne and arranged for birthday balloons and decorations in my room. The hotel is located directly on one of the best beaches on the island, so a short walk from our room and we were right there. Perfect. The hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. There is a bar on the beach where you can order light bites. We really enjoyed our stay and should we find ourselves in Negril again, we will be going back! "

"We had a veranda oceanfront room. It was right on the beach and in the center of the resort. Many passers by looked over with envy because of how awesome the location was!! The resort is a bit run down and needs do renovation. The ocean air is really hard on everything. Overall the resort was in great shape. The service was impeccable and the staff seemed genuinely gracious to help. I really enjoyed the interactions with numerous staff members. Jamaicans are the kindest souls on earth. The food was outstanding, and whether we are at one of the various high end restaurants, or the amazing buffet, we always left more than satisfied!! "

"From the phone call conversation, the front desk staff, the bell man, the room, the dining options, the varieties of food was excellent. I wish I could take home all the staff. They treated me and my friends as guests not anything else. I was happy I chose this location to have our girls vacation. My overlooking the ocean was magnificent. I could go on and on with all the positives but experiencing it is a different level of happiness."

"Great spot on 7 mile beach. Staff is great especially Legion the bar tender and Dana. The beach guys are good too (Nasif, Omarion and Shemar). Restaurant and a pool overlooking the beach."
