"Cute little old beach cottage with 1950s charm. The house was perfect for a stay in Seaside close to everything, you can her the waves. There were two comfortable queen size beds and cozy little living room. The bathroom at the back of the house is newer and had great shower.The cons: The yard is way too overgrown and difficult to enjoy- spider webs and leaf litter made it difficult as a dog owner to scope out potential harmful plants or other dog droppings. The carpet inside needs a good...

"We have stayed at this spot multiple times now, and love it every time - if it's sunny and beautiful, or rainy and cozy. It has everything you need and we really like the one room kitchen/living room layout upstairs, with the bedrooms/bathroom downstairs. Also great to have the deck when it's sunny to sit with coffee and a book and listen to and see the ocean. We will definitely be back!"

"Friends celebrating turning 60! The Pilot House was perfect. Enough space for us as well as great views of ocean tides inside and outside. Watched the moon rise off the ocean and sunset. Great walking beach. Everything you need to cook dinner was available. Highly recommend The Pilot House"

"The house reminded me of my first log cabin we owned at Lake Tahoe,, rustic and unique. We enjoyed our stay here and loved that we were able to walk to the beach, use the hot tub, and explore the area. We were unable to get the TV to work so we called the caretake, she was at the site in 20 minutes and fixed the problem. The cabin was well stocked, comfortable and cozy, location was great, close to Cannon Beach and Manzanita.. Hopefully we willl be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay,"

"The house is so cute. The kitchen had everything you would need. The bathroom even had a heated towel rack. The beds were comfortable. There were a lot of games if you want to play. The firepit is huge. The hot tub/jacuzzi was very clean and nice, we used it multiple times. The washer and dryer were great. Overall very happy with staying there. "

"I had an awesome time at Inn Haystack Rock! It’s such a pretty spot and checking in and out was a breeze. Plus, parking’s free, which is a huge plus. The area is super quiet, just a block from the beach, and you can even catch a glimpse of it from some places at the Inn. Everything’s within walking distance to, restaurants and shops are just around the corner. My room had all the essentials and was really clean. There’s no AC, but they did have a fan. I’d totally stay here again!"

"I love everything about this place except the hot water doesn't last long enough for one person to shower. It's especially hard to fill up the jetted tub in the special room when you have to wait for the water to heat up over and over again. I couldn't finish rinsing my shampoo out before the water got cold and then my husband has to wait a good half hour before he can take his."

"Everything was great. The staff was very friendly. I felt comfortable. The room was beautiful, with two bathrooms, which was very convenient for our family. A thoughtful touch was the message we received after check-out, informing us that we could leave the car parked until 3 PM and still use the hotel's amenities. This gave us a chance to relax and have a snack before heading home, which was especially appreciated given the chilly weather outside. I'm not sure if it's the hotel's issue, but when someone in the neighboring room turned on the shower, it was very loud for the person in our room who was sleeping against that wall. They said it felt like the shower was turned on right above them."
