"The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we came back to our room from shopping and the maids removed sheets and pillows from the bed and new ones were never put back on. So that was weird but not a huge deal as we were not staying overnight anyway. "

"The moment we walked into the house we all commented on how clean and organized it was. We were only therefor an hour before a wedding, to sleep, and get ready to get back on the road to Michigan but very nice property. Great breakfast diner in town."

"Janice and Richard were extremely pleasant and stay was great-country grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Went for Oshkosh and is far enough away to be out of the crowds but still close enough so you’re not driving for hours—-@45 min both Janice and Richard are fanatic proprietors AAA+++++ Will stay again!"

"The guest house is beautiful and well maintained. The bed didn't suit us and combined with squeaking floors (as in many older homes) kept us from having restful sleep, but otherwise well appointed. It was a fair distance from the Horicon Marsh natural area, and we prefer a closer place to stay."

"The location was a plus. Close enough to town but far enough to enjoy the peaceful lake setting. My husband enjoyed fishing right off the dock and having several poles and supplies was a plus. . Having a canoe too for use was great. We took the canoe out and spent several hours on the beautiful a lake. The cottage had the amenities to make our stay complete. We hope to be back again! "

Great location and views

"Very nice location. The home sits on the lake and the views are very nice. There is a covered patio out by the lake. It was comforting to sit out there and watch the lake. The home was very nice, clean and comfortable. In the main room the view of the lake was nice. The kitchen was nicely equipped as well. The beds were comfortable and no one had any complaints. The place is very clean. There were no problems with the check-in. I would definitely stay at this place again. There is a bar/grill within a quarter mile and a nice little restautrant that serves sandwiches and pizza within a mile as well. Do yourself a favor and book this place, you will not regret it."
