"The room itself was clean, and so was the bed and bathroom. The carpet in the outside hall and steps smelled stale and at times like urine. The staff was nice and friendly. We arrived later than we had planned, but were welcome by the staff. The hotel is not as close to main attractions, but has lots of restaurants and stores around, and it’s within walking distance of the train station. "

"Small boutique hotel in the middle of the city, only a minute walk from the busy street with local restaurants, 5 minute walk from the central station, but it is totally quiet and secluded. The hotel has two sites, the main building and an apartment building which is only seconds away. The main building has a breakfast place and bar with a beautiful courtyard. Simple and elegant. The apartment rooms are roomy and just feel like living in Hamburg. Highly recommended. "
