After a day of sand and surf, return home to take in the sunset from the expansive back deck. The private balcony offers even more vistas and the perfect place to enjoy a crisp evening drink.

Indoors, bask in the warm ambience of the fireplace, or gather for movie night in the den.

LIVING AREA

Relax in the living area, featuring a gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, reading nook, and a dry bar. Doors open to the back deck.

The den has a flat-screen TV and a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, and a sink.

The loft offers yet another living area, complete with gorgeous ocean views and a sleeping futon.

THE LOCATION

Walk to Neskowin Beach whenever you please -- beach access is just 50 feet from your rental! Stroll the shore and walk to Proposal Rock, less than a mile away.

Venture just 0.4 miles to peruse local produce at the Neskowin Farmers Market, offered every Saturday. Hit the links at the Neskowin Beach Golf Course or hike the Cascade Head Trail, a 7-minute drive.

Visit Neskowin’s beach cafes and bistros or head south to Lincoln City for a wide variety of cuisine.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great House. Great Stay.

Great beach house
This home is in a wonderful location - very short walk to the beach and not far from Proposal Rock. The home is large and well stocked. We loved sitting in the top floor room with its views of the ocean. Our kids liked the ping pong table and pop-a-shot basketball game in the garage.

Great Rental
Enjoyed our stay. Proximity and views of the beach were excellent. A few sliding doors didn’t work smoothly and a few shades were missing cords. Rental company was very responsive. Overall a great rental!

Girls Beach Weekend
The house was a perfect fit for our group! I would definitely stay here again, but we had a few issues that should be easily resolved. Not enough towels in the kitchen. There are two Murphy beds but no linens. And there was a clump of hair on the wall of the shower so it had obviously not been cleaned.

Son was married on the beach and our family stayed at this lovely property. Walking distance to everything in the small quaint town. Of Neskowin. The property was equipped with everything that we needed. Very well organized and a place for everything in the cabinets. Space for family to spread out. Would come back for an extended stay to get out of the heat of AZ in the summer!

Great home close to beach
The home is beautiful and very clean it had everything we needed. The only reason I rated it a four star instead of five is because whoever stayed before us did not pick-up the dog poop!!! The side yard had several large piles and it was gross. I have a small dog but I always pick-up after her.

Fantastic location and view
While the home is comfortable and can accommodate many sleeping arrangements for a crowd, the kitchen is inadequate to prepare large meals. The Cookware is not up to par, supplying one main fry pan that has peeling and scratched surface is not enough. 1 pot holder and 3 kitchen towels is inadequate too. While using 2 counter top appliances at the same time the counter outlet kept breaking. One suggestion for the next renters is to have coffee filters available for them to at least enjoy a cup of coffee from the coffee maker before they head to the closest market (20 minutes) to get supplies sufficient for their stay. We used a paper towel to get us by till we went to the market. Lastly there were ANTS in the kitchen, main living master bath and downstairs. It’s clear there is some attention that needs to be made for Maintenenace of such a large house and some for-thought for guests comfort during their stay. We managed to enjoy our stay as the location is amazing so close to the beach. Made for great walks and quality family time despite the issues encountered

Well-stocked and spacious vacation home
Big Retreat is perfect for a family weekend in Neskowin... very close to the beach and a quick walk down to the store and cafe. It was clean and well-stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, and kitchen items such as pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. There are board games, toys, and a Wii for the kids. The washer and dryer was handy and we appreciated the hose outside for washing off sand. Our only issue was the living room television... the Roku remote issue from previous reviews still persists. There is no working remote for that television, other than the one that lets you turn the TV on/off. We found a work-around by installing the Roku remote app on our phone, but not everyone would know how to do that. Not that television is required for a beach weekend, but it is a shame to not have it available in the main room where the big sectional couch is.

Great vacay rental with close proximity to beach!
We loved our stay at this beach home in Neskowin! The home is one house away from the beach which was the highlight for our family! We still had a great view of the beach! I appreciated the prompt and informative property management who called me the day of our arrival to inform me of needing to replace the refrigerator. When we arrived, the property manager showed up to ensure the refrigerator was down to proper temperature. Downsides to mention: The remote for the Roku TV did NOT work despite us changing the batteries! My father had to work the TV via the Roku app on his phone. The gas burning fireplace did not work. The day of check in, the property manager looked to see if there was adequate propane in the tank and there was, but it would not turn on. It was not fixed during our stay. The central heating worked, though, so we remained warm during our stay. It would have been nice to have the ambiance of the fireplace though. Also, the can opener in the kitchen does NOT work! This needs to be replaced if it hasn’t been done already. Overall, the home was clean and as expected based on previous reviews. My children loved all the toys and play kitchen which was a huge plus in addition to the close proximity to the beach. We will be staying here again!

Will book again!
We’ve done many coast rentals, but this was hands down the best. Location: This is one house away from the beach access. The kids went barefoot across gravel slowly because it was so close. Beach access had big rock steps descending the dune stabilization rocks—most of neskowin is like this. The beach waves were a little intimidating at the house with a large riptide current warning, especially at high tide. Walking half a mile south will land you closer to proposal rock, with a kid friendly stream to play in. House details: This house had ample space, lots of kids toys, books, sand toys, wii, garage full of more toys, ping pong table, arcade basketball hoop, skimboard, and a few folding chairs. The most surprising part was how many extra beds this place has. The big credenzas in living room and den? Those are folding beds with super comfortable mattresses! There are trundle beds under the bunks! I counted a total capacity of 16, but bathrooms will be super tight. For noise: the first floor sound doesn’t really carry up to second floor, but from second to third, there’s no door. The top floor has beautiful views of the ocean and the waves can drown out some noises. The master bedroom is on second floor and can hear the dining room/living room noise Kitchen: had nice dishes, spices, coffee grinder. The owners put thought into outfitting the place elegantly and didn’t fill with cheap junky stuff. Management: they helped address over full garbage and were very clear on early checkin (none) or late checkout (extra fee). I even got an offer a week prior to extend the stay by one day for a discount since it was available. Instead of a guest information book there’s a tablet, which we didn’t really use. Hope this is useful. Have a great time!

Neskowin home
We love Neskowin’s beach and this home provided not only easy access but also a view of the beach. Very comfy beds and nicely appointed kitchen. The main level rooms on 2nd level are the most used and in the best shape. The lower level and top level could use some updating, and the windows could use cleaning, especially the screens, plus a number of the window shades cords are not functioning properly, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Big Retreat
Our stay at this home was due to being told a week prior to our date of arrival that the home we'd rented in October 2023 was being remodeld and no longer available. Its location was two streets from the wedding venue we were hosting. Now we're told nothing's availaable in Lincoln City and only one home is and that's in Neskowin!!! We had no option but to take Big Retreat. Who begins a remodel knowing the home is rented for a special occasion??? Our family was devastated!! We were hosting and cooking all the food for Rehearsal dinner, which now had to be cooked in Neskowin and transported to Lincoln City. Everyone got through it, and we made do, but it was added stress none of our family needed!! Big Retreat provided a nice place to stay.

Big Retreat - fantastic!
This house was perfectly situated right near the beach. The weather was a perfect combination of stormy and clear. We spent plenty of time on the beach and with the puzzles and games. Everyone had a great time!
