"I received a call 24 hours before our arrival (on New Years Eve),telling me the booking cancelled due to 'gas issues' in the apartment. I was told they would arrange for Expedia to search for alternative accomodation. I was ,however,scepital about this and proceeded to try and find accomodation myself,without success at such short notice. I then received another call after approx 1 hour,telling me now sorted but may be put in one of the hotel rooms rather than the apartment. . On arrival,the...

"Stayed for a long weekend; perfect location and great amenities. We were luckily enough to see a red squirrel! The crows were a little annoying but very little you can do about that, they must have been nesting so we had our very own personal early alarm call! Would reccommend the cottage and would definitely go back if visiting the region again. Only thing to mention would be the mould that was starting to develop on the bathroom ceiling."

A 5 minute walk from the centre of town and lots of restaurants and pubs but far enough away from the centre to be private. Amazing views. "This hotel was perfect. Walking distance to the centre of Windermere with lots of bars and cafes. Additionally great bus links although we chose to drive which was equally convenient as there was onsite parking. You can take boat trip a 15/20 min walk away. Shower is basic but the hotel room was stunning and a really comfy bed with smart tv. Overall extremely happy and would stay again :) "

"Let me start by saying thank you to the whole team for making our recent stay so incredible. We were with you last week Wednesday - Friday. We were put in one of the upper level rooms with a partial view of the lake and it was a fantastic room. From our very first interaction with security at the gate, to checking in with David who was excellent, and all of our interactions whilst we were with you, we had a lovely time. We also booked Thermal journey and a treatment each which we had on the Thursday, the spa was equally as impressive. We also had the pleasure of meeting Puppy Holly (and Tim) which was one of my fiancés highlights. Special mention to Mel in the Winander bar who was lovely and we had several conversations with."
