"Very dissapointed. Paid about €200 for a night, booked one family room, and got two separate rooms. There was no complimentary shower gel, no soap in one of the room, no bottles of water. Taps in sinks, bath and shower had not much pressure. TV in one room didn't work. Breakfast very poor and limited. Came by 9pm with 3 little hungry kids and the restaurant was already closed. Nice and huge bath in one of the room, like a little swimming pool. "

"We stopped overnight here and stayed in the guest house which is located a short stroll from the main hotel. The guest house is more like a motel type room lacking character but was fine for the in einem night. The actual hotel is located by the dam and it was lovely to sit out and drink a beer by the side of it. We also walked into nearby Feldberg an der around the half island which was interesting. The restaurant food and also breakfast was tasty with good choices."

"The hotel was located conveniently for access into Mûritz National Park, especially by bicycle. The restaurant at the hotel had an excellent dinner. I was surprised when they did not give me the two story room, with the balcony, that I reserved and paid for. They also asked me to pay for my room a second time. They gave me a less roomy one story room, with no refund for the difference. I don’t know if these problems were caused by Expedia or the hotel, but it was a little unsettling."

"My 5 day stay was ideal for what I needed. Peace, Quiet, and close to nature. I started each morning with a jog down the lake before breakfast. The restaurant was the best food I ate in Europe. The converted early 1900's barn was a touch of old Germany that really added to my trip, which up until this point I had been staying at typical American style hotels. If you are looking for a getaway for serenity, relaxation and a little exercise - this is the place."
