Braun Rio might be just what you're looking for when planning your next vacation getaway in the Hill Country. This home is uniquely nestled on peaceful Guadalupe riverfront, in a park-like setting. Instead of neighbors on the other side of the river, you'll find only lush trees and a peaceful setting. The home is also tucked neatly away from any main roads, so distractions and traffic noise are a non-issue. Kick up your feet and enjoy one of two deck areas overlooking the river, or make your way down to the riverfront patio, where you'll find easy water access, additional seating, and an available charcoal grill to cook up a memorable vacation meal.

Inside, you'll find two bedrooms and the equipped kitchen, dining, and living areas on the lower floor. The master bedroom hosts a comfy king size bed and attached bath with walk-in shower and large, separate bathtub. In the second bedroom, you'll find a king size bed, and an additional full bathroom. The upstairs loft is perfect for the kids, with its own television, board games, and two futon beds (linens and pillows are provided).

Awesome spot on the river
Great house right on the Guadalupe. The upstairs room was perfect for our boys and the downstairs bedrooms were great for our daughter and us. The house was clean and well maintained. We spent the entire time outside by and near the river. Just a nice quiet vacation!

Awesome place for concert weekends!
Very comfortable for 2 couples. Great river access and nice fire pit. 15 minute drive to Whitewater Amphitheater. Will attempt to stay here again for our next concert.

Very relaxing!
We sat in our lawn chairs in the river under shade trees and watched tubers go by. We tubed ourselves at a nearby rental place. Convenient to Wimberly to dine and shop. We went to nearby Canyon lake one day. The home has great kitchen and comfortable beds. We will be back!

Serenity Plus Location Your Comments Braun Rio is a wonderfully peaceful Braun Rio was a wonderful place to spend a few days. Just sitting on the deck outside listening to the gurgling of the river stream by and the goats bleating from a nearby farm is enough! But, there are many amazing restaurants to try and towns to visit. The house is well equipped with everything needed to cook meals. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms conveniently located. Our stay was perfect in every way!

We had an amazing girls trip at Braun Rio. The house was clean and as advertised. The kitchen was stocked with necessities and linens were clean. We had plenty of room for our group of 8. Access to the river was easy but the water was very shallow. We will 100% be staying at this property again!!!!

Family fun at the river
Our family of six stayed at Braun Rio for 3 nights. The house had everything we needed. The location was great and backyard and entrance to the river was wonderful. Tube rental was just down the street. Would definitely stay again!

The experience was amazing . We didn’t have hot water at first when we got there but after a couple hours we got in contact with someone and they told us to unlock the door and lite them heater . The trip and house were amazing and we want to try and rent the same house in July for a whole week .

Summer River Trip
Great House for our trip, great kitchen- we cooked almost all meals at the house, lots of tv's for everyone to watch at night or play video games upstairs, the wildlife was amazing - lots of deer!! The location to lots of venues was great as we did a few day trips. The river is very shallow at this location so it would be good for small kids - my high school kids and adults were disappointed. Lots of space for everyone !!! Upkeep to the outside of the house/decks and grounds is needing work - but the inside was clean and accommodating.

Everything was great but the stovetop was not working. We were made aware of this issue before we checked in and they provided a small hot plate for cooking but it made breakfast for 6 people challenging. Otherwise, everything was perfect and overall we enjoyed our stay.
