To many people outside of the room talking loud and making alot of noise. Call for service phone didn't work also two people's came to my door and asking for me to opened.
My husband accidentally booked this hotel. He was thinking Fairfield and got confused. No big deal...or so we thought. This hotel is a DUMP. We drove up, saw a drug deal go down, a guy walking to each room and trying the door, and another group of guys was hanging out behind the building, and it looked like it may have been another drug deal. We turned around in the parking lot, and didn't look back. We totally just ate the money. Our lives were worth it.
Stayed there for one night, blanket had holes in it, stepped on a dead roach before I left the room. I do not recommend staying here unless it's a super last resort and you have nowhere else to go.
The police was the with gloves on as soon as I got there ,I thought someone got killed or something. It was allot of poeple hanging outside like there where ,having a cookout in the hotel or something .If u want something cheap for the day cool ,but I would not want to be there at night !
This happened to me two times.
I made my reservations through Expedia, but when I went to the hotel, all rooms were occupied and they hadn't kept my room available for me.
The first time I had to sleep in my car and the second time in the hotel's staff room.
I'll never ever try this hotel again and DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
although location was good, this hotel was not worth the trip, staff was not friendly at all, felt we bothered when checking in and out, staff curt and short. the room did not have the amenities described, no wi-fi,
Very poorly maintained, dirty towel from prior guests hanging on back of bathroom door. Would not stay there again. On the positive side, no bedbugs or other vermin noted.

Scary hotel!
When we arrived at this hotel at 9:00 pm, it seemed to be in a scary, run-down part of town. When we awoke the next morning and could see the area better, this fear was confirmed. There were several locals living at the place... and one customer was asking the desk clerk if he could buy condoms.
The room was quite small, but the bed was a good size. There was no crib available to rent and we were not able to get any extra pillows. The walls were in desparate need of cleaning, there was mold on the walls, and the bathroom was pretty disgusting.
However, the desk clerk was very kind. He tried to accomodate us as much as possible.

The room was not really at the time we got there and they took to long to get it really.
Fairview Inn is one of the most dirtiest, uncomfortable, unsafe motels I have ever stayed in. You have families, drug dealer, ladies of the night, staying there. I was so afraid that I didn't sleep, scared that someone would try to come in my room, which they did. I put the chair under the door handle. For the price of the room, I should get my money back. The website for this place is false advertising.
Strip club next door. Sticky carpet. Shady personalities around.

Don't Walk...Run
This is a low end motel (not a hotel). I selected it because I thought it was walking distance from the train station. It was a long walk - maybe 30 minutes - through a knarley part of town (the wrong side of the river). Decent restaurants are a 30-minute walk back across the river to the Riverwalk, or a taxi ride ($10-$12 one way).
The room was basic - TV, small fridge, microwave and bed. Bathroom was minimal (soap, no shampoo). No Internet. I heard the neighbor's TV well after I turned out my lights at 12:00. I was next to the office so after a certain point, I concluded it must be the office TV, not another guests. Not too thoughtful.
Next door is the Gold Club. It's for "gentlemen."
Check in took about 5 minutes as the desk clerk entered my details into a computer, scanned my driver's license and credit card. I was told to bolt my door when I was inside my room.
I spent $65 for the room and was in it for about 9 hours, so it was tolerable, but I wouldn't even think about it under any other circumstances.
booking that hotel was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I check in at 12 am, when i entered the room, it was dirty, especially the bath room, u could hear loud music from other rooms, people were seen walking without shirt. to make long story short ,it was terrible experience . I paid the money without staying at the hotel. I went to double tree hotel where i felt save and enjoyed my weekend.
Fairview Inn is a terrible place that you will not want to recommend it to anybody.
Disgusting rooms, sticky carpet, noisy gentlemen's club next door with cars racing through parking lot all night. Bathroom had rust all over floor, toilet ran, very little hot water. The most unfriendly staff I've encountered. The room was small and stunk of cigarettes, the state police were in parking lot off and on all night arresting people. Do not stay here!!
