"It’s a great place to unplug, relax and enjoy a peaceful quiet getaway and that it was half way point to our daughter in PA. But we stayed for Christmas Eve and Day and the hosts had it decorated for Christmas and it wasn’t too much and just enough. We did get use out of the hot tub. (Not sure if too noisy but it was nice). "

The cabin had a fair bit of what we needed as far as amenities, but the rest we were able to get easily from the Walmart that was less than 10 minutes away. "Very peaceful. The cabin was stocked with pretty much anything you would need. Almost zero traffic. It worked well for our family of 3. We had about 3 inches of snow overnight and it was nice to see across the hills. It is located on a gravel road but that's common in the area and we are used to it. "The cabin was nice and clean. However, the whole cabin was unlevel. The floors were slanted. Since the floors were unlevel the toilet wouldn’t flush correctly because the water level couldn’t refill properly when flushed. None of the batteries worked in the remotes for the TV etc. Had to go buy batteries. Also, there is a tree limb that kept scraping the metal roof."
