"Lovely place for a couple and a child. Master bedroom was lovely. Water would not allow bathing but shower was ok in hall bath. The downstairs sleeping for two adults was a little difficult. Would have been nice to know upfront that the water was not potable. Nice touches with the set dining table and toiletries. View is amazing."

The only drawback for anyone who's not quite so agile is the steep staircase to get to the bedrooms. It worked out fine for our family of four, so I just list this for anyone with mobility issues."

"Great layout, well-appointed and super walkable to Old Port, the great restos on Washington and the Eastern Promenade. Only downside was communication with Vacasa: they always answered but didn’t necessarily address the issue, ie I struggled with the electronic door lock, was leaving for the weekend, they said the owner would come address it but when I returned 3 days later it had been left unlocked all weekend. Unreliable WiFi & I work remotely. Several times had to work from cafes.beautifully...

"Despite the gray, chilly weather, the cabin was cozy and warm. I just snuggled down on the couch and alternated looking at my book and looking out the huge window. A walk on the trails to the beaver pond was a bonus. Was hoping to see an eagle or a deer; maybe next time.A dream of a stay! "

"Beautiful clean house right on Jordan Bay, Sebago Lake. Wonderful spot to get on the lake for some ice fishing! Would love to come back. Four stars overall only because neither of the two fire places worked and one of the entrance doors was broken upon arrival."

"When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"Had a very pleasant stay recently at the Portland Harbor Hotel. The rooms are spacious with a great view of downtown Portland. The front desk service was good and the room rate was reasonable. When I checked in I would have appreciated being told that I needed to use my room key to make the elevator work, but that was a minor issue. "I’ve stayed at the Inn on St John many times. I have a long commute from home to Portland. I stay when the weather is bad and the travel is dangerous. I like to stay at the inn because the it very affordable, comfortable and very easy to check in, find food nearby and relax in my room. I’ve stayed in many of the rooms large and small and I’ve never had a bad night. Staff are super friendly. The parking is easy. It s also a nostalgic place as I grew up in Portland and My dad was friends with the Lekousi family who owned the Inn. There was a Greek bakery next door. "
