Wrap Around Decks w/Beautiful View & Hot Tub

What's going to be your favorite feature? Early morning coffee while enjoying the sunrise over the surrounding hills? Late night stories around the backyard fire pit? Adirondack chairs on the wrap around deck? Frogs croaking from the lagoon? A four person hot tub on the lower patio? Hardwood floors? Cozy loft room? You'll probably have to experience it before you can really choose.

The space
We're not really sure how to describe the settings around the Grand View Cottage, so we'll just let the pictures do the talking. There's nothing quite like waking up on one of the many rolling hills of Amish Country, and sipping your morning coffee from our wrap around deck. Or maybe your idea of fun is staying up late with friends around the fire pit in the back yard, reminiscing about the days adventures in one of the most idyllic communities in the US. Take the photo tour, and dream about your next get away in Holmes County, Ohio.

- 7 minutes from the Ashery Country Store (bulk food paradise!)
- 10 minutes to Dundee Falls (a must see if you like to do a little hiking!)
- 15 minutes from downtown Walnut Creek
- 15 minutes from downtown Berlin
- 25 minutes from historic downtown Millersburg
- 30 minutes from downtown Canton

Everything is open to the guests except the use of the garage.

Other things to note
- If you don't like steps, this isn't the place for you.
- If you have young children who aren't safe around steps, this isn't the place for you.
- Please note, that this is in the country, with goats in a neighboring field (seasonal),frogs in a close by lagoon, and crickets galore. If nature sounds freak you out, this isn't the place for you.

The Grand View Cottage is at the back end of a private road, that is off of a township road, that comes off of a county road. In other words, you're not going to need to worry about heavy traffic noise or interruptions. Unless of course the sound of the occasional horse and buggy clipping along sounds like heavy traffic noise to you. Amazing view over wooded hills and farmland. Absolutely breathtaking.

Getting around
I'm afraid there's no option for public transportation around here. Uber would probably inform you that you must have fallen off the map. But there is plenty of free parking for all of the vehicles in your entourage, both big or small.

Great place to stay!
Me and my mom traveled here to celebrate her birthday and visit Amish country! This was a great place to stay. Despite a couple of houses being close, it was very private and quiet! The house was clean and so cute and the hot tub with an amazing view was the cherry on top! Definitely plan to return in the future!

This place was very nice. It is vertical but it was very cool. We don’t mind stairs at all. The views and the porch were awesome. It was very peaceful and it seemed pretty centrally located to all the activities we did. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend for anyone that don’t mind stairs.

Wonderful cottage...Quiet neighborhood..Beautiful views. Loved the porch and outdoor furniture to relax and just enjoy the scenery in the morning and evening. Lots of steps, but that works to help counteract any additional calories consumed at the area resturants/shops/markets.

Amazing, relaxing view!
My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights for our anniversary. The view was so much better than expected! We loved the goats that were on the property and we fed them with the food provided at the property for 50 cents a bag. Especially the little black goat that knew how to get out of the fenced in area! We used the hot tub which was very relaxing. Just a couple of suggestions if you’re planning on booking this property: there are 3 floors with many steps. There is no toaster, which we really missed having toast with our coffee in the morning. There is a couch in the kitchen area, which we didn’t quite understand why, but maybe it’s an Amish thing? The bathtub is extremely slippery when showering so put a towel on the bottom of the tub before getting in. Overall, we loved staying here and will probably stay again!

Perfect place to stay!
The property is a wonderful place to stay. The view is amazing from the wrap around porch. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there. Not far from Berlin, Sugar Creek, Mt. Hope, Charm or Walnut Creek. My sister and adult daughter love to get away there for a girls retreat. Eli is a wonderful host. It is very clean and comfortable and has a hot tub! The goats are a bonus.

The view was certainly grand! We enjoyed the porch and the hot tub! The sweet mama goat and her babies were fun to interact with. There were even goat treats. You are close to beautiful neighboring properties but the owners thought about privacy with the hot tub and backyard space. The only suggestions I would have would be to provide some shampoo/body wash, etc. and put in a dishwasher for more convenience. It was a lovely, well kept property.

Lovely daycation
We went for just one day and the place was super cute! We pulled out the couch bed and watched movies in the evening, relaxed in the hot tub, and ate at the Amish Door which was only 6 min away. I highly recommend this home and will probably be staying again soon!

We stayed here for one night and loved everything about it. It’s almost like a 3 story tiny house, although it looks big from the pictures. It’s cozy and quaint and the owners thought of everything. Everything was as described in the listing. Very relaxing experience with a peaceful setting. We also enjoyed the daily visits from the goats and the chocolate chip cookies upon our arrival.
