Your vacation get away awaits at this lovely, private, 2 bedroom home nestled right in view of Norris Lake and Cedar Grove Marina ... Summer is in the air! We have an awesome Hawk family nesting in the back yard to watch! There is a beautiful lake view with large covered deck overlooking a lovely private cove! Our property offers the safety of a community but the privacy of a secluded getaway. No neighbors on top of you! There is a lovely TVA trail just past our drive you can walk down to fish. The spacious master suite offers a Jacuzzi tub , walk in shower, 46 inch TV, rocking chair and bench for just kicking back. The kitchen with breakfast bar, dining and living space flows right out through french doors to the large back deck overlooking the lake. The open concept promotes togetherness! Walk out the back and enjoy your own private camp fire. Second Bedroom offers queen size bed with full mirrors on his & hers closets next to the full second bath. There are two single memory foam mattresses which can be pulled out for kids or additional guests. New washer and dryer for your convenience & use. Access this home & back your car/truck/ boat right into the carport on a nice flat drive. (room for 2 boats w/ trailers.) We do not have a dock but Cedar Grove Marina is only two miles from the house and you can easily dock there for convenience. By popular demand WiFi has been installed!! Smoking urns are provided on the back deck but there is no smoking permitted inside. We thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding.
Please respect the no pet policy for our guests who may have allergies. We are fur baby lovers but we simply can’t allow them in our home.
Our goal is to offer you all the comfort and conveniences of home on beautiful Lake Norris at an affordable price. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Nearby amenities include: Cedar Grove Marina (two miles) , Beach Island Marina & Bubba's Brew's Bar & Grill (less than 5 miles away)! Free Launch is within 2 miles. Cedar Grove Market has gas on land is 3-4 miles down Rt. 33 and includes a small deli and makes a nice made to order breakfast or lunch too!. Woodlake Golf & Country club is 15 miles away if you want to shoot a round of golf as well. We found a great Vineyard in Maynardville only about 15-20 minutes from the house. Go mountain biking, hiking, or hunting in Chuck Swan state forest which is also about 15 miles away. LMU is about 20 minutes, and the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park is only a half hour away! Explore! New Tazewell offers shopping and antique shops to browse. Tazewell Speedway has racing from May through October! Gatlinburg is less than 75 miles away and Knoxville is less than 40 miles if you are looking for more adventure! We are literally 11 minutes from town.

Very nice home. Just 6 minutes to Cedar Grove Marina.
Nice home, close to marina. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for air mattress. Owners very nice and provide great information for your stay. Only complaint is no wifi but other than that it was a great place to stay!

Beautiful hime away from home
Very clean and beautiful home and location. There is a tight curve into the drive so if your pulling a trailer, take your time. Well stocked home. Very clean and everything worked well. The jet tub was a nice bonus. Very close to a Marina to put your ski or boat in. I would highly recommend this home.

Easy to find location, easy to use entry system, extremely clean in every room. Totally provided with all amenities one could need, lovely screened-in porch furnished so a large family could dine out there. Loved the spacious closets, comfortable beds, plenty of blankets and pillows, easy-to-use appliances. I've been called a perfectionist by most people, and I must say, my standards were met!! Would definitely return there .

Great experience! Our family had one adventure after another. The deck of the cabin has a lovely view and is very conveniently located to the marinas. There is a nice trail to a swim/fishing area. The campfire was a great way to end our day on the lake. The owner was very responsive to a question we had while we were there. Thanks for the fun!

Very clean and well taken care of. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend away.
This is a quite secluded place along the lake. There is a place for a fire. We made a small fire each night and made Smores. The furniture was comfortable and the deck is large, a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and sipping wine in the evening. Howerver there's no access to the lake for swimming. Its for viewing only. We rented a pontoon at the marina around the corner. Everything was convenient and close: a general dollar, which had all your day at the lake supplies, Ingles and Walmart. They didn't sell wine so be sure to bring your own. Would recommend this place and would consider returning. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Definitely a great find! I define “Robin’s Nest” as celebrating the 3 r’s, Relaxation, Refresh, Renew! This cottage provided needed relaxation! It was refreshing just sitting on the large deck, sipping our coffee and watching one leaf fall from a tree at a time. It was a renewal of fun and simplicity, in an otherwise, often, hectic world! This cottage provided so much -comfort, needed essentials, and a reason to just get away! Doug was so easy to deal with, providing information at the cottage as well as in texts and phone calls. This is a beautiful cottage, roomy, tastefully decorated, well manicured landscaping and surroundings, and as an added bonus, a wonderful view of Norris Lake and marina! My husband and I were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary and this surprise find accomplished just that! We loved it! Thanks Doug and Robin for sharing your wonderful home with us; we will be back!

A very nice VRBO listing overall.
The guest information book of the area prepared by the owners was outstanding and very helpful. Boat ramp is close and cheap boat gas on the way to ramp. Watch time of day because everyone else knows about the gas station too. Décor was nice and the place was very clean. Would suggest the light bulbs be checked more often as several were burnt out and replacements could not be found (40 Watt Candelobra). Might consider new mattresses or plywood stiffeners for comfort. The Lake view from deck is restricted by leaves and we knew that before renting. This part of Norris lake is less traveled and that is nice if you are a skier looking for flat water. Saw an enormous Owl in the woods from the deck one evening, hunting for his diner. Wow!! We will look to rent this unit again in the future. Thank you for sharing it with us.
