The property is located close to time square and was pleasant, comfortable and affordable. Only downside was, being Saturday Night and there was plenty going on and the street noise, even on the 13th floor was loud.

Unique facility. We got a kick out of having bunk beds. Small room, but then again it is nyc. The employees were all wonderful!

Had an Overnight stay. The location is within walking distance of Times Square and NY Penn Station. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They made transportation arrangements for my group of five to the cruise terminal. The rooms were clean the bathrooms were clean and stocked very well. It was our first visit to NYC and the staff an accommodations at the Artel Hotel made it a pleasant experience.

Great family stay in a great location!

It is a small New York room, but very well designed. The beds were comfortable, there were plugs everywhere, enough towels, and we got early check in. The water and coffee availability in the lobby was a nice touch. The water pressure and shower head were amazing! So great to have a tub, traveling with kids. I wish there was conditioner available. But otherwise great stay in a great location!

Just a hidden jem in the heart of manhattan. Great personnel, location is prime. Room was small, but it was more than enough. It was clean, without any “hotel” smells you can feel at some hotels. I have already recommended this place to my friends who travel to NYC, and would come back here again myself. If you need just a good, convenient and basic place to stay while you explore the city or running your errands, look no further.

Small boutique hotel, off the beaten path but only a couple blocks to the subway station and Times Square. Staff helped to book limo service to the airport that was cheaper than Uber/Lyft. Beds were comfortable and cleaning staff did a great job. Our shower was slow to drain, but that was a small thing.

Very comfortable for a family of 4

Our family of four (parents and 2 teenage boys) was very comfortable in the larger room with 2 sets of bunk beds. Artel was by far the most affordable option for our family to stay in NYC. Customer service was awesome! We arrived early and stored our luggage until check-in. Also, don't forget to request a fridge if needed!

Hotel is a great location for our needs. Staff fairly friendly and room was clean. The carpet had been pulled up in the rooms and hallways, so we had a concrete floor. I am sure it will look much better after new flooring. Room was very tiny and we did not have a closet or any drawer space, but we made it work.

Very modest Hotel, not visually pleasant, it was very disappointed, was expecting something more artsy ( everything was far from anything artistic). There was no air conditioner in the room, fortunately the weather was pleasant. The "staff " was nice.

Very unique property in a great location. Good value for the price. Just some of the design decisions didn't suit me. I didn't like the concrete floors and there just wasn't enough lighting in the room. However, I did like the bunk beds, that was a nice feature. And the bathroom was very nice with immediate hot water.
