I stayed with my daughter, and we were both very impressed with the style and comfort the hotel offered. The staff were helpful and friendly. Great location. We would definitely recommend to others, and will hopefully get to stay here again next time we’re visiting.

What an AMAZING experience! The Civilian is now our NYC “go to” hotel. The location in the Hell’s Kitchen area made for terrific walking and dining. Lovely staff. Always friendly. Check in and out were super easy. The room (cozy twin) was far better than expected. Efficiently appointed. Comfortable beds. Bathroom and shower were perfect. Breathtaking view! Thank you!

We loved this hotel and will definitely be back!!! The attention to detail was amazing and the deco was gorgeous! I did miss having a coffee maker in our room. But everything else was perfect.

Chic property with a great bar. Rooms are very small, no desk, chair or space to spread out except in bed. But clean and modern. To note - the restaurant, bar and rooftop don’t open until 5pm, so no food options or hang out area available during the day.

Beautiful hotel in a good walkable area. Cozy rooms are very small with not much storage, but is was a good looking room. No shower curtain/door, so the bathroom gets wet.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff and our overall stay at the Civilian during my daughter’s first trip to NYC. I had questions prior to checking in and the team was prompt, courteous, and kind in their responses! We dined at Rosevale, the hotel restaurant and it was fantastic! The service there was equally outstanding. We were close to the theatres which was a big reason for selecting this hotel- highly recommend! Thanks Civilian!

This is an amazing hotel. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. The building is so nice. The location is great. The rooms are wonderful and do a perfect job of using the limited NY City space. The view from our room was incredible. And they even went out of their way to make our anniversary special. This is the kind of hotel where all the details are paid attention to, and it shows. I loved staying here and will again.
