The staff was friendly enough but this is a tired hotel that needs some investment. My room "window" was a narrow slit that looked into a dark narrow air shaft. The air conditioner did not really work so fresh air was not very available. It was just a sad room I wanted to avoid being in. Those factors will keep me from ever returning. The mismatched furniture was old and tired Sheets and towels were clean and plenty of towels at least. Doors and walls are thin so I was awakened by loud talking outside my door. Coffee was a keurig machine behind reception. I didn't take the subway but it was nearby. This section of 32nd street is labeled Korean Way so if you are in the mood for good Korean food there are lots of choices. If you want another cuisine you'll have to venture further.

Great stay, location, and rooms. Would definitely return. Early check-in wasn't possible, but it's never guaranteed, so I was fine with it. Though not overly effusive, staff were helpful and accommodating with checking bags, restrooms, pointing to quiet area to use for meetings, etc.

The room was more than adequate for the type of holiday I wanted. It was perfectly located and within walking distance of train stations and major tourist hot spots. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and well looked after.

Superb location. In the heart of midtown between 5th and 6th Aves on 32nd st. Great staff and doorman. They graciously upgraded my room to a very spacious suite. I would stay there again without hesitation.

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location. Otherwise, the hotel is not clean, and many things are not functioning properly. I even got bites on my feet, though the other person traveling with me did not. There are no outlets near the bed, which is surprising—I've never stayed in a hotel without an outlet close to the bed. Housekeeping did a half-hearted job, replacing the trash bags but leaving the old ones in the room. The room was also very warm. We visited at the beginning of September and were told that the hotel has central air, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature ourselves. We had to open the window to cool the room down. During our stay, the elevator broke once, and the machine for copying room keys only worked intermittently. Overall, the hotel is cheap for NYC, and I guess you get what you pay for because everything about it feels cheap. While it’s rated as a 3-star hotel, it feels more like a 2-star

The hotel was severely outdated, and the water pressure was so weak that taking a proper shower was nearly impossible. But the most disturbing incident happened at 6 AM, when someone violently attempted to open our hotel room door. Thankfully, we had engaged the safety lock, preventing them from entering, but the experience left us in a state of shock and fear. We immediately reported the incident to the front desk, urging them to review the security footage. To our disbelief, they completely downplayed the situation, offering an implausible explanation that it was housekeeping trying to access the room. This claim was highly suspicious, and when we later inquired with another staff member, they confirmed that housekeeping does not start until 10 AM. Despite this terrifying breach of safety, we received no sincere apology or acknowledgment of the severity of the situation. Coupled with the dilapidated state of the hotel, this incident has left us deeply unsettled. I cannot, under any circumstances, recommend this hotel, and I will never return. The entire experience, from the dangerous security lapse to the deteriorating facilities, was nothing short of a nightmare.

The location is great, the bathroom was very spacious and clean and so was the room. My issues were that the pillows are very hard and tall making your neck crooked and the lack of sealing on the windows which made the rooms extremely noisy overnight. So I basically did not sleep during my stay.
