Took advantage of a food and beverage credit on 11/25 and 11/26, the bill on 11/25 was higher by a few dollars vs. what was listed on the menu. When I asked the waiter, he said he could not do anything about it; when we checked out on ~9:30 am on 11/27, the person at the desk said they could not do anything about it; I would need to speak with the manager. The manager came out but walked right past us and was working on the coffee machine (which did not work properly both mornings 11/26 and 11/27), while the desk attendant did nothing, said nothing, making us wait. When I asked why the manager was ignoring us, the attendant was rude, indifferent, and did nothing to help us.
We had an appt at 10 am so we left. Small matter but something that should have been resolved easily.
It shows how little the Algonquin Hotel staff really cares about their guests, having them come back. or provide positive reviews.
