Large modern rooms, extremely quiet for a hotel in the theater district, great staff from front desk to housekeeping, amazing location for Broadway shows and walking distance to Central Park, Rock Center, Empire State building, MOMA, Grand Central Station and more. AMAZING value. WQe could not have been more pleased.

My husband and I went to NYC for a quick trip for our 9th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the location and the convenience of the Muse on W 46th. It was in Time Square close to the Theater District, shopping and restaurants.

The hotel looks nice on the surface, but it’s kind of beat up in real life. The shower in our room was messed up and sprayed water all over the entire room. The outlets on the end tables did not work. There was a lamp that was literally glued together - and not very well. The cabinet that houses the mini fridge had seen better days. The metal trim on it was coming off/sticking out. I can imagine if you had little kids that would be pretty dangerous, but either way just not very classy. I expected a lot better quality for how much they’re charging per night. If asked, I’d recommend to just go to the Marriott Marquis instead.

The concierge at The Muse was the best we have EVER had the pleasure of working! He greeted us like family from the minute we walked into the hotel and each time we were in the lobby. His recommendations for dining were spot on. The only reason I did not give this hotel all 5 stars is there is no restaurant attached. Otherwise, it is the absolute perfect place to stay, especially if you want to be close to the theater district!

Great hotel. Stayed here many times. Staff is super nice and accommodating. Very convenient to Times Square/theaters but is on a quiet street. My only issue the last time I stayed (Nov 2024) was they charged me a fee to store my bags after checkout at 10am. My flight was at 5pm, so I needed a few hours of storage before leaving for the airport. This is a new change. I had never been charged before. After the cost of a stay with "resort" fees attached, I felt this was over the top. This hotel should not charge for holding bags after checkout. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
