The place is great and lots of little thoughtful things to make a great stay. My only advice would be to ask for a room away from the road. The lorries start early."

"We have stayed at various places during our 3 week tour of the South Island, the Homestead Lodge was head and shoulders above everywhere else we stayed. It's a lovely place, the owners have worked hard to make it elegant, well-equiped, extremely well looked-after and friendly.
