"Herbert Cottage is right in the middle of everything Newlyn, an active yet picturesque fishing village with great restaurants & cafe has to offer. Just a short stroll to Penzance &short car rides to all the lhighlights it’s really well situated. Although centrally located it’s peaceful & quiet with everything you could want. "Brilliant location, 30 seconds from the front door of the cottage and your in the heart of the town, used the parking at the leisure Centre for 7 day stay, cost £26 plus, you have to pre book, with the car park/ cornwall. You have everything you need in the cottagecouncil"

"Bespoke, unique and tastefully converted carriage. Bed was comfy and had all we needed for a 3 night stay. Location was perfect for the coast path and close to the lovely village of Cadgwith. "

"We probably had the worst weather from Storm Bert. Nevertheless, we were tucked away in "Henrietta" our beautifull, comfortable and cosy carriage. Not once were we bothered by the storm. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The property has everything you could need for a lovely stay by the sea, with the most comfortable lounger ever! We happily spent hours just laying on the lounger looking out at the sea. There were lots of lovely welcoming touches such as bread and milk left, a cream tea and fresh flowers, which made us feel especially welcome. It was a bonus to have an outside area and table and chairs. We can't wait to book again!"

"We booked this break on a whim, as it was my wife's birthday. I have to say it is an absolute gem of a place. We had booked a long weekend and from start to finish was sublime. The room was beautiful with amazing views of the bay. It was warm and comfortable, with a large bed and great facilities. The staff were always helpful and courteous regardless how busy they were. Breakfast was filling, tasty and l have to say the tea was the best l have drunk in this country. Evening meals were outstanding and l can recommend the beer battered tiger prawns in sweet chilli sauce as a starter. St Ives is beautiful and has some wonderful beaches and walks, and the Lifeboat Inn is a perfect base."

"Walking distances to train and bus station. There is a bit of a walk up stairs with luggage. No elevator. The rooms are named after different places in area. The one downside is the dinning area needed reservations and stop food early. Luggage storage great. Communication prior to visit was amazing. Would stay there again and overall enjoyed visit. "

Couples night away.

"Very clean and a really lovely room, luxurious with bathrobes. The fridge with drinks and snacks to buy was a nice touch, as were the two complimentary cans of Korev. Great shower room. Fantastic view. Couldnt ask for more. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast which has a great choice."
