Great Weekend in Newport RI
Excellent stay .. Although at first we weren’t given a harbor view, which is shown in the listing, the front desk corrected the problem the following day.. The rooftop sunset was beautiful.. The staff was very helpful.. Definitely would go back..

The listing on VRBO didn’t match what the property was. The pictures online implied a suit with 1 bedroom. Instead it was a room with a bed and a “kitchen” that really wasn’t. The room overlooked a dirty alleyway and pictures made it seem like a new location. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the location smelled like they were covering something up. We checked out a day early and the front desk didn’t ask why. We won’t be going back to this location

The location and the room were perfect. There was ample hotel parking available. Upon arriving in our room, we were treated to a beautiful sunset. Our stay was very comfortable, and everything was within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall the stay was very nice. I was a little disappointed because I called and asked for a view of the water. They said it should not be a problem. When I arrived, they were unable to accommodate. I wish they didn’t give me false hope. Overall it was a nice stay!

Sisters Getaway
Highly recommend this hotel! My sister & I stayed here for a sister’s getaway. Prime location- you can park your car & walk everywhere. Parking is the only tricky part as it is definitely limited , so we parked it and walked everywhere. Close to fabulous restaurants, coffee shops, entertainment, marina, shops & bars! Hotel was very clean , safe location and they even held a wine & charcuterie event in the lobby. Friendly staff & nice hotel guests. Awesome rooftop deck that overlooks the water.

The Inn had a fantastic location, walking distance to the Cliff Walk and all the wharfs. Especially appreciated our water view unit and the area on the rooftop to relax, read and enjoy the harbor view. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Overall a very nice stay, in the heart of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint is the misleading photos that make it appear you are getting a water view room. You don’t, you get a room on the side of the building, looking out into an alley. You can see a glimpse of water if you press your face against the window. I reread the “small print” on the VRBO listing and it does indeed disclose this fact. But to show a full water view in the photos (knowing it’s the photos that catches people’s eyes) is definitely misleading. Again, it’s a very nice room, just be aware of what you’re booking.

We were concerned because we were above the bar as others noted. We had no noise issues but that maybe because it was off season. Cooling the bedroom was a challenge because the ac was in the other room. The fan to move the air was very loud. The location was perfect. Parking was easy.

Perfect place!
Loved the accommodation and location. Very easy to locate and lovely accommodating staff when we arrived a little early to check-in. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation very clean and well equipped. Very quiet and I was lucky enough to have a harbour view which was wonderful especially at night. I can highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if I was visiting the area. Thank you!

Location, location, location
Right in the heart of downtown Newport near everything you would want to see and do. Clean comfortable room with all the amenities you could use for a longer stay (we were there for a weekend). Limited parking get there early for a spot on property. Bedroom is on the hallway wall so bring some white noise with you. Would definitely rebook here and recommend it to others.
