Pros- the location is fantastic, it is very clean, the staff (or at least the very few I saw) were extremely friendly. Cons- Front Desk staff not always available, No blankets provided in room. Biggest issue was my room (#8). It was FREEZING. I was able to track down staff who asked Housekeeping to give me a blanket which did not help much. The heat totally failed on my last (third) night. Also, the room was directly over the kitchen and the smells filled the room beginning at 6am.

The Inn at Bellevue was a fantastic choice for walkability to points of interest in Newport. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was easy and convenient. Due to the age of the property, some parts of the room were in need of attention (TV and Toilet). Overall, very pleased with our stay and experience. Would absolutely book again!

I frequent Newport to visit some of my friends now that I live in Milwaukee. I normally stay on Thames, but I enjoyed my stay at the Bellevue Inn. The staff was friendly and you can smell the fresh bakeries being made in the morning. Also location is very central to Thames and actually was quieter since you are up on the hill.
