"Had a lovely stay at Mintaro Cottage. Very comfortable property with a cosy fireplace and quality amenities. Fridge was stocked with some local, quality breakfast provisions. Also received a complimentary bottle of local wine, which was a nice touch. Mintaro Cottage is so peaceful and quiet but just a short walk to the local pub (which served excellent meals). Unusual especially when you fly in late on a Sunday. People usually leave milk, bread, cereal & eggs etc. Two burners didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work, some lights didn’t work. "We had many problems in the cottage, starting with difficulty getting the key out of the black box. Unable to contact owner or maintenance man on either numbers given. Heater not working, control panel very grimy, freezer shelf badly in need of defrosting, outside back light not working, wood stove not working efficiently because of ashes from previous fires, and no pan or tools to clean it out with. Because heater not working, insufficient wood for wood fire. cobwebs in 2nd bedroom."
