We rented 2 rooms, and they both had a funny smell - they were clean, but just smelled off so we kept the windows cracked at all times. I would have no problem recommending it to friends, or going back myself for another stay."

"The hotel is in a good location, very near the U bahn giving access to the whole city. There a good restaurants near by as well as excellent options for breakfast. Our one complaint was the aircon only blowing warm air which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Other than that the room was reasonably big, the bed comfortable and the over bath rain fall shower was decent."

Was expecting to be more dorm like, and it does have that feel a bit in decor, room and lobby which is very modern, concrete, minimalist. "Excellent room EXCEPT some fool had installed the curtain rail to follow the slope of the ceiling. Naturally that meant the curtain just slides down the slope. We suggested a solution of pegging that section of curtain to the larger section of curtain which was not sloping down. We asked if they could provide some way to pin them together. The receptionist insisted it would be taken care of by the housekeeping staff. It wasn't. Put a do not disturb on the door or be interrupted by a knocking...
