Nauvoo Country Cottage - Sleeps 12

Relax in the quiet of the charming countryside surrounding Nauvoo, yet be close enough to enjoy all the local attractions within minutes.

Nauvoo Country Cottage is located just 7.5 miles from the Nauvoo Illinois Temple. This cozy home sits on 3 acres giving plenty of privacy to your family or group.

There are 4 bedrooms, two with queen size beds and two with twin bunk beds. The bedrooms with the bunk beds also have lofts with full size mattresses. The lofts are great for kids or small adults and are enclosed with a secure railing. Must be able to climb a ladder to use the lofts. Two pack-n-play cribs also available for babies.

Reunions or large groups may use the yard for tents at $5 per person above 12. Keep in mind that the home is only furnished for up to 12 (sheets, blankets, plates) and there are only 2 bathrooms.

There is plenty of free parking onsite (campers and trailers welcome), and lots of area outside for kids to run and play!

We totally enjoyed the cottage. It had plenty of room. The kitchen and bathrooms were spacious. It has a country style with a little modern flair decor. It was peaceful. We felt safe. We would stay there again.

Perfect for our trip to Nauvoo
We loved our time at this little house in Niota. The kitchen is as well stocked as any we've ever seen and the kids had fun with the games in the cabinet. We appreciated the great communication with Jordan and all of the couch space to watch Conference on. I hope we get back to Nauvoo and if we do, we'd definitely stay at this property again.

Made Nauvoo trip special
Shared Vrbo with close friends family and it let us put our kids to bed while we enjoyed games. Comfy bed and owner was very responsive and easy to work with. There was some things we picked up in the yard but it was easy in and easy out. We hosted about 30 people one night for an Easter egg hunt and it was awesome for that. Will stay again.

Great communication and quick responses from the start! The house was perfect for our group. Great kitchen table so we could all eat together and play games into the night. They provided everything we needed plus more. The lofts were so fun and the 2 bathrooms were big. Very clean property and would absolutely stay here again.

Soccer tournament refuge
Youth soccer tournaments in Burlington are notorious for having very few hotels available, so I highly recommend this place for folks looking for an alternative. About 25 min from recplex. Tons of beds for kiddos.

Good place for the price
The owner was great to work with. The home was big enough to fit our group of 12 comfortably and had an open layout in the living room and dining room. The location was 10 minutes from Nauvoo. It was an older home and had stray cats that hung around the property, and the living room rug smelled like cat urine. There was also ants in one of the lofts and in the bathroom.

Wonderful Home
The home is better than the pictures and descriptions. The home was very clean. The beds very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Check in was easy. Communication with the home owner was great. Very pleased. I would highly recommend this home. It is very close to Nauvoo. Yet it is out in the country side. I went running every morning we stayed at the home. Wonderful place. I will definitely stay again when visiting Nauvoo.

Overall good.
We're just a bunch of picky old ladies...well 3 of us were anyway. Just a few minor things like the sheets on the beds need to be replaced. They seemed pretty well used. Not thrilled about the step from the living room to the dining area. Yard looked pretty neglected but thankfully didn't have any children to play outside. Master bedroom floor has a definite sagging problem. Would liked to have had TV's in the bedrooms. Otherwise, the house was very clean and kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Will probably stay there again.
