For a budget property, I found this place to be a good place to stay. The apartment is only one year old, clean, and functional. The people are very nice and helpful. A car is a MUST here because of location. You cant walk to the bwach because the roads are busy and there are no shoulders. Public transportation is intermittent and undependable.
On the down side, the property does not offer hot water, there are many dogs that bark incessantly, especially beginning at daylight, within a few feet of the wall by the bed. Still, for $50-65 a night in Aruba, it is a good deal. The owners will rent you a car for $30 a day (taxes incl.). I stayed 25 days and found the owners to be responsive and weekly maid service quite sufficient.
