"Very old and dirty in the unit, lobby was clean. We had to use to fold out and I was afraid of bed bugs, the mattress was so gross! I went with blind faith that the blankets were clean and layered them on top. We asked for another duvet or blankets and was told they don’t have any. Did not eat breakfast, it looked like a small option for the price. The staff was friendly and answered directional questions. We were not close to restaurants or city center but the tram was close. "Situated in an apartment block with many local residents. Quiet and with immediate access to walks through the woods and to nearby towns. The kitchen is small and the bedroom very tight but all very serviceable. Host helpful and friendly. Organised passes for us, but not on site. "Five of us stayed very comfortably. We could have easily had twice that many. There was a misunderstanding about towels and such. It was entirely my fault. This was my first experience with a self-service place and I didn’t read the instructions completely. Complicated by a bit of a language barrier. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

We could hear the muffled conversations of people in the room next door and a lot of noise from the street from people who had very much enjoyed the Christmas market gluhwein. Nice, but in a super crowded area

"We went to Strasbourg at the height of the Christmas Market season. The Hotel Rohan could not have been more in the center of it. This proved to be both convenient and frustrating. Convenient because you walk out the door to a wonderful winter wonderland of food, gift and drink stalls. Frustrating because it’s sooooo busy, sometimes you have a literal struggle walking down the narrow street to the hotel. As far as the hotel itself, if you’re used to the size of a big city European hotel, you’ll be pleasantly surprised about the size of the rooms. They’re clean and shockingly quiet for a busy location. The check in desk doubles as the bar, so sometimes services in the lobby is slow. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. "
