However, the apartment is situated above a Tesco store, so we were woken up on both mornings by lorries being emptied and stock taken into the store. "Excellent secluded spot outside and overlooking Cheddar, out in wide open fields within a minute and up to the gorge in about 15. Rustic, cosy little house with all the essentials and a stocked wood burner. Friendly host and dogs! Also had a small milk in the fridged stocked when we arrived which was a nice touch. 2 single beds might not be up all couples' streets, but well worth it otherwise. "

"It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! Although we didn’t meet any staff communication was very clear via emails and website. Thoroughly recommend 👍 "
