"Above average motel with a funky, campy touch. Nice welcome. There was a happy hour event, but I did not attend it. Good-sized, comfortable room. Heater worked well and quietly. Room is a bit dark, even with all lights on, but it was good enough. Good price for the accomodation. Not a big fan of having the window opening directly to the corridor, that forces you to keep the shade down for privacy, but I guess that's standard for a motel. Will likely return, as it's one of the best accomodations...

"Cool place to stay with a couple of quirks. Room is large with comfortable beds, fridge, fireplace, jetted tub, double sinks, and a large shower. The quirks are that you have to check into the casino next door, there's no staff at the hotel (although maid service is provided), there's no ice machine that I could find, and there is no door on the little room that the toilet is in. I would stay there again."

"This was a beautiful home in a great location that accommodated our family really well. While we enjoyed our stay and the amenities this home had to offer we did notice upon arrival that the home was not the cleanest. There where cobwebs on the ceiling upstairs and a layer of grease on the exhaust fan. The outside grill was also not clean and under one of the beds the was an empty bottle."

"This property is historical and quaint, it was where the Olympic athletes stayed for the 1960 Olympics. It was a bit tricky trying to find where the front office was, but we loved the location. The woman at the front desk was great and so helpful. We were so pleased that we had bikes available on site for our use. Walking to the main Ski Area was easy. It is showing some age on the outside, but the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need, including warm robes."

"This was our first time in Tahoe and we absolutely loved the area and this hotel. We did splurge on a room with a balcony but could have probably skipped that expense, it was a little underwhelming.
