"This hotel was so welcoming, the staff was wonderful. It is in a quiet area and close enough to the beach and downtown you can walk if you don’t mind doing a little walking. Room was clean and comfortable for the two of us. The have a continental breakfast and a wine hour in the afternoon perfect for a quick bite/snack. We would definitely recommend! "

"Beautiful place. Friendly staff. However, we sat at the bar in Angel Oak for over 20 minutes before we got our drink and desert order taken and another half hour before it came. Hostess had to get things going and comped it thankfully. Also my lunch order at poolside bar was messed up (but got the sandwich comped which was appreciated). I just think they were terribly understaffed for the busy weekend. "
