"Old hotel but generally very well maintained. The bathroom at the roof top onsen needs some refurbishing, looks dull and dated. Love the activities such as tarts making, crafts making in the hotel, should have more varieties of them. The hotel also provides complimentary shuttles to take the guests to the nearby places, which is such a great service to provide! Would definitely stay here again if we revisit Yilan."

"We like staying at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel. This is our second time staying here. The room is clean and spacious. It's super quiet as well. The staff and services are great. There are nice restaurants located in the Great Food Town which is across from the hotel. We like to walk over and eat at our favorite hot pot restaurant then shop at the Sapporo drug store. Last time we found a laundry mat next to it and it is so convenient for us to do our laundry there. There are also other stores and restaurants in walking distance. Overall, we like everything about our stay at this hotel. "

"The front desk staff was amazing with excellent services. The room was large and spacious and the public baths were very nice with a cold and hot pool. The hotspring here is not with sulfur and so it does not have the smell. Things in the minifridge were also free. Highly recommend"

"Arrived early before ck in but the clerk did explain this. We agreed to pay a fee to be able to get a room before ck in which wasn’t too bad . Understand that 11 am ck out we arrived at 10 am . She was able to get us a room by 11:am. Just showered and slept .appreciate the early ck in !"
