"The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Perfect location right next to the gorge. We went mid week when penny royal was closed, I'm not sure if the noise from the park would be annoying if you stayed over the weekend. The backdrop of penny royal added to our experience. "

"A quirky heritage buiIt looks better inside than from the outside. The building has been updated for more modern times. Be wared though there are lots of different stairways to rooms so if you have lots of luggage or trouble climbing them it may not be suitable for your accomodation.Very convient location within walking distance to CBD area. Has reasonable amount of free parking on site. A varitey of rooms. Our room was a queen with ensuite. Nicely decorated in modern period fixtures and...

"Property is a little dated. No digital TV very average shower. Other facilities would have been great to use such as mini golf, but close at 5 which is a shame during daylight savings. Staff very pleasant meals very nice. "

"We spent 3 nights here and it was a really lovely place to stay. Room was fantastic and also had a great shower. Property also has a lift which was great for those who have trouble walking up stairs. It was also great having the restaurant attached and staff at the restaurant were fantastic. Location was very handy to everything. Would love to come back and stay here again. "
