"The La Quinta, Trinidad is one of the best motels in its class that I have stayed at. The check in was great and the staff was welcoming! The room was clean and well maintained. I had dogs with me and the gal at the desk moved us from the 3rd floor to a room near the doors on the 1st floor for ease of acces for them. The breakfest was good and there was a nice area to sit and an outdoor patio with a view. There was also a fitness room. I would go back here to stay, in a heartbeat!! "

"Easy off and on the freeway. Not much for restaurants or places to get a drink in this town. Hotel was nice, people were great but doe to the lack of things to do we won't stay in this town again."

"Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We needed a pet room so they made sure we got one at check in. We ate at the restaurant and it was decent Mexican food. Nice to have after being on the road for 13hrs. Good overnight stay. Breakfast was made to order and very good"

"The beds were so very comfortable, as were the pillows! They left free sandwiches, potato salad and dessert for guests that were free as well as items to purchase to use in the microwave in your room. Very much appreciated after a long day of travel. The buffet breakfast was amazing ! Would definitely stay here again! "

"The evening staff were excellent and went above and beyond with my request for needing some freezer space to freeze items for my cooler. I had a room facing the freeway so was quite noisy all night. A freezer portion in the small frig for the rooms would be an improvement."

"Quiet, clean, no smells. Would stay here again. AC was running when I got in (a little odd since it was November) but that was easy to adjust. Outstanding breakfast."

"Overnight stay, beds were superb, room was very comfortable but door closer on bathrooms door was a pain for my mother to use, with her walker. We ended up putting a cooler on the door to hold it open. And the coffee maker stopped working after only one cup was made."
