As serene and peaceful as it gets and only blocks away from a plethora of great restaurants, bagel shops, boutiques and more. The Northport Hotel (tremendous restaurant) offers rooms at 450 per night so the value of this home speaks volumes. A rarity in a very upscale market. Owner Richard is incredible affable and attentive."

"This house was very nice, as pictured or better. Clean, no issues checking in or out. Wagon was there as promised, more bikes than promised, lots of beach towels and chairs provided. The house had two wonderful outdoor second story decks with great views of the water and the ferry dock. Location was perfect, so convenient to ferry and market. Two things not great. Although it had an AC unit in every bedroom that all worked fine which made ground floor cool and comfortable, the main living...

"Very comfortable stay with lots of room to spread out. Interesting older house with many unique features. We were happy to learn that they recently installed a new furnace and a dishwasher. Lots of cookware and dishes. We spread out over two dining rooms for mealtime which worked well for us. "

"We loved the location, but the home was loaded with spiders, most appliances did not work (dishwasher did not work, blender, toaster oven, the stove top only half worked) - plus the pots were scratched (and with Teflon not useable) The shower door was broken and would not close, the toilet paper roll holder had no dowel to hold roll, toilet seat very loose, door frames were chipped and dirty, hold in wall next the bed in room with bunkbeds, laundry closet had missing doors. "We all had an amazing time. Convenience to the beach was a bonus. Spectacular views of the ocean n the bay. Plenty of space , screen doors were annoying ( but I also live on the beach and understand how beat up everything gets). Would definitely rent this house again."

Very nice visit

"We stayed at Sonesta last night because of the snow storm. My wife was working in Scarsdale and the ride home would have been too treacherous. The hotel was beautiful, the room was very nice and clean. Check in was terrific thanks to Patty at the Front Desk who was very helpful. We only had one complaint: the shower. My wife wanted to shower after work. The water was cold at best and the water pressure was very weak. Someone from Maintenance (very nice) came up and fixed the temperature but in doing so the pressure was even weaker, My wife showered and figured it would be better in the morning. I wanted to get in the shower and again only cold water (we had the faucet handle all the way to the left) and weak pressure, almost like a light rainfall. But that was the only issue. We had dinner and then breakfast. The food was good and we had a very nice waiter. We would probably come back again"
