"The house was at a great location, near Belfast and not too far from Camden/Rockland. Good for kids. The house was very large and old-style classic. The porch was huge and great, old school. The property was very nice, access to rocky shore was good, but with a lot of steps. The plumbing was old but clean and the lighting was also old. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook and more. The host was very good and responsive, we had no problems and had a nice stay"

"The house is great but it needs a little upkeep. New throw rugs and upholstery cleaned. The beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable but the cleaning crew should be fired. The rest of the house wasn't very clean. There was even a pair of men's underwear on the deck from a previous guest. The location was perfect though."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. "Such a beautiful property! Our flight got a bit late and Alex and Siobhán were gracious and kind. They met us with the keys and went over the information needed. Because it was dark when we arrived, we were so amazed to see the beautiful views when we awoke. We were close to shops and amazing restaurants. I would definitely recommend!"

"Beautiful views. We saw eagles,seals and a crab boat checking his pots. We drove to bar harbor several times with plenty of sea food places along the way. There was 5 of us and we had lots of room to relax. "

"This is a BEAUTIFUL property. The home was spotless, and the patio deck was perfect. We enjoyed sitting out in the morning with our coffee and taking in the scenery. The owners are wonderful people, and we got to meet them personally. The appliances are top-of-the-line, and all the accessories were provided. If we ever return to Deer Isle, we will be looking to stay here again."
