"Interactions with the owners was easy and we gots lots of information, both before and when we there there. It's a gorgeous, tranquil spot, very central for exploring Hadrian's Wall. The pod was clean with everything you might need, and very comfortable beds. We loved the little outdoor area with fire pit too. Our first glamping experience and we would highly recommend.with a prfirepit"

"Location is excellent accessible to plenty of lovely walks. Very peaceful and quiet - tranquil. Ensure that hot water is avaiable, at best we had luke warm showers - we also had to boil the kettle to wash up. Provide additional towels and an area to dry (air out) towels. It was dark on arrival and very difficult to find our pod additional lighting is required to prevent tripping over and finding your way."

"The lodge was lovely and very well appointed. The beds were comfy and everything was absolutely spotless. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of mould in the corner of the main bedroom which made the whole place smell quite a lot but other than that it was great! Personally I think a few touches such as hand soap and not being required to strip the beds at the end of your stay would make it better but these things don’t take away from how beautiful the lodge is.
