This captivating neoclassical and art deco museum houses a stunning collection of American, European and Chinese art and photography from ancient to modern times.

The Norton Museum of Art is Florida’s biggest art museum and is one of the state’s most important cultural institutions. Since its founding in 1941, the museum has developed an internationally acclaimed collection of American, Chinese and European Art. The museum’s collection includes a stellar list of modern and contemporary pieces and a diverse photography collection.

Explore the many galleries of this late art deco-neoclassical architectural beauty and enjoy over 7,000 artworks. See exclusive works from the Renaissance era and impressionist and modernist movements, including works by Monet, Gauguin, Braque, Chagall, Matisse and Picasso. There are also works by American modern masters, such as Jackson Pollock, Frank Stella, Dan Flavin and Sol LeWitt. The museum’s stunning collection of Chinese art and artifacts features a bronze sculpture made 3,200 years ago and beautiful jade carvings from the Qing dynasty.

Alongside its permanent collection, the Norton Museum of Art also hosts temporary exhibitions, special programs and lectures year-round. Admission to the Norton Museum of Art is free for children under the age of 13. Everyone else can enjoy half-price admission on Thursdays until late in the evening. The museum is closed on Mondays and public holidays. It is located in Grandview Heights, near Lake Worth Lagoon. Free parking is available in the parking lot opposite to the museum.
