The staff was super friendly and helpful. A strange but possitiv thing is that the hotel is facing east/northeast which means the hotel is not super heatet during the day/afternoon ant therefor not to warmm in the evening which can be problematic in the warm season. This is sort of smaller problem with this hotel. Nice view from most of the rooms. We had problems getting any wifi signals in the room. They are working on it we were told.
But in general we can fully recomend this hotel. We stayed in the hotel for a week mid october 2024

The hotel is about 20 minutes up a very steep and winding road above Taorimina so it's not convenient to go back and forth. The decor is dated, but the hotel has an old world charm and the setting is beautiful. The back of the hotel looks at Mount Etna and the wonderful pool faces it too. The breakfast was nice and had typical
Sicilian pastries. They could update the decorations in the rooms and lobby.
