"Arrived to a room without a pull out couch . Staff upgraded room . Excellent service from staff . However the bedding was deffinetly not cleaned as there was eithrr lipstick or blood on the sheets under the blanket . Other than that it wasnt a bad place . "

"Seamless great service. The rooms were not well thought through. No comfortable chair to sit in to read, no desk that is big enough to work at, and no carpet to absorb sound. In short, not a very functional room to work in. "

"I liked that the facility was well taken care of and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. The weekend I stayed was a children's "hockey tournament" so the hotel was anything but quiet - however, I did not let that deter me from enjoying my stay. Life happens :) "

"Staff were all lovely. Check in easy. Great location for downtown. Nice rooms. Loved the showers . Noise from the hallway felt like people walking by were right in the room with us. Only real disappointment was the room service. $76 for 2 breakfast after tip and they show to the door with our breakfasts in take out containers and plastic cutlery. Not exactly the indulgence we were hoping for. Food was fine, but the delivery was what you expect from highway hotel with a Denny's...

"We always arrive at The Lord Nelson when in Halifax. Grand old hotel, choice restaurants and coffees at walking distance, nice park in front, spacious rooms. "
